As an outspoken advocate for limited government and unlimited freedom, Congressman Jeb Hensarling has led efforts to control spending and protect tax relief throughout his career in Congress. Jeb has served as Chairman of the RSC Budget and Spending Taskforce, where he introduced a budget that would balance in five years without raising taxes on American families and individuals.
Congressman Hensarling received praise from pro-taxpayer groups in 2007. Hensarling won “Taxpayer Friend” designation for the third consecutive year by the National Taxpayers Union, who also announced that Jeb had the least expensive spending agenda in the entire Congress during 2005 and 2006.
Congressman Hensarling’s experiences in helping to create jobs and having to meet payroll have made him an ally of small business, a champion of regulatory relief and a strong advocate for economic growth.
