Quico Canseco is a family man, a businessman and a life-long Texan who has always given back to this South Texas community. Quico knows through experience, not only the needs of larger cities, but the issues of rural towns and border communities. He is passionately concerned about the future of South Texas and wants to carry that passion with him to congress as the Representative from Congressional District 23. Quico has taken a strong stand on illegal immigration, stating, "As a nation, we must not condone illegal entry into our country. We must take all measures to secure our porous border, and to protect our nation's sovereignty." He stands ready to represent this San Antonio-based district that had long been represented by Henry Bonilla and that in a 2006 runoff elected hard-left perennial candidate Ciro Rodriguez.
