About Me
Growing up on his family farm in rural Mississippi, John was instilled with the value of hard work, the importance of faith and family, and the desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
For the past ten years, John served the people of Mississippi at the highest levels in Washington, D.C. and here at home.
After Hurricane Katrina, Governor Barbour tasked John with multiple leadership roles where he helped the Gulf Coast rebuild. In 2006, John was appointed the Mississippi State Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Rural Development.
John also serves in the Mississippi Air National Guard. He and his wife Laura reside in Madison, Mississippi. They attend Bellwether Church in Jackson.
