Delegate Marshall has never voted for a tax increase, is strong on pro-family issues, is conservative with taxpayers’ dollars and favors limited constitutional government, has had over 16 years experience as a State Legislator and more than 6 years on Capitol Hill as a staffer working for both Democrats and Republicans.
Bob Marshall married Cathy Fonseca in 1976. They have five children, Teresa, Chris (deceased), Mary, Joey and Tommy, and attend All Saints Catholic Church in Manassas. Bob has received numerous civic and service awards over the years from the League of Conservation Voters, the Humane Society, the NRA among others.
First elected in 1991 to the Virginia House of Delegates,
Bob has a BA from Belmont Abbey College, North Carolina, and an MA in Humanities from California State University.
