About Me
Ed Tinsley is a seasoned small business owner, restaurateur, and rancher, who is also involved in the oil and gas industry. Ed’s life experiences give him a first-hand understanding of the issues and values that are important to southern New Mexico.
Ed Tinsley is a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in accounting. He earned a law degree from Texas Tech in 1977 and is a current member of the State Bar in New Mexico and Texas.
Ed has been a loyal member of the Republican party for approximately three decades. He is an active member of the New Mexico Republican Party, both financially and substantively, serving on the State Executive Committee since 2003.
