About Me

A successful small businessman, Matt is currently the president of Shaner Investments Limited Partnership, a mixed-use land development company that builds both commercial and residential properties with a focus on hotel development. Matt’s involvement in politics goes back to his days of working for Senator Rick Santorum on Capitol Hill as a staff member in the United States Senate. He also served as county chairman for President Bush in 2004.
Matt is a former member of the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Tourism and Lodging Association, and is currently involved with numerous organizations.
He currently resides in Port Matilda with his wife, Andrea, a Bradford native. Together, they have three children: Grace, Rose, and the new baby Lance.
